Musing about bikes in Boston this evening we had a brainstorm. What if you used a Bern helmet to approximate the iconic ballcap? 
Could anything be more Boston than that?You'd need the RedSox on the back of the helmet, and a big red B for Boston on the front.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, my husband is the same way. He wants a helmet like this, and he doesn't own a baseball cap. We actually brainstormed this thinking of alternative helmets and I suggested a batter's helmet. We think this will be safer.

ReplyDeleteIt does look a lot like a batter's helmet- you could smear pine tar all over it if you wanted "authenticity"
Sad that they've already decided to delay the game because of the threat of rain :(
