Though not as objectively beautiful as the other "Pinarello" city bike I've featured, this one always gives us a smile when we pass it on Newbury Street.
So it's an inversion of the "uglify your expensive bike so no one will steal it" principle?
Or perhaps an attempt at a sting operation or insurance fraud: "My Pinarello got stolen! It was worth $5000! Seriously, look at the picture. It says Pinarello on it and everything!"
