The Gap (no, not that one)

When I saw this spread in the January InStyle Magazine, I thought with a sigh "that's how I should dress to ride my bike in the city...."

This one, from body+soul magazine, instilled a flash of recognition. That is how I dress to ride my bike. I hope I'm still young enough to pull it off!

Oh well, I guess it could be worse. (don't click that link)

You can pull it off, don't worry. Riding the bike is where your credibility comes into it, not your age.

HAHA! I love the surprise link. Yikes. There's been hearsay in the land of Tar-jey Boutique(Target...) that they're working on a stylish and affordable bicycle commuter line. Not sure what truth there is in that though...

yes, you will always be young enough to pull this outfit off! please! :)

you know, the only problem I usually have with riding in (what I consider) fashionable street clothes is that my boots get cage-marked (kind of scratched & dimpled) and generally torn-up over time.

...not sure how to solve that problem because I LOVE keeping these toes warm on cold winter days!
