I noticed her bike first, skirt guard and helmet second, shopping last.
This blurry photo was taken as I tried to keep up with her, take a photo, and not fall in a pothole. You can see that we've been having grey, cold weather. Her gold lamé bag was my only bright spot all day.

Is that one of the Bern helmets? I love those. I've seen many more around Minneapolis lately. Much more in-tune with unique personal styles than your generic cycling helmet. Easier to fasten stickers and decals as well. :)
Mmm, now I'll be tormented wanting to see the front of that bike!
It's so great that Boston now has vendors carrying brands like Gazelle, Pashley, Batavus, Biria and Electra -- we will be seeing more and more of these bikes on the streets!
I do like the red helmet! It's been quite chilly in Flagstaff, as well. Each morning I struggle to decide just what to stay warm in as I pedal to work.
My husband saw this photo and thought it was me at first! So did I when I saw the photo but it's not me. I have the same helmet, and a Royal 8. I don't have a full length photo of me on the bike but I have this one:

You can buy the helmet at www.cyclechic.co.uk! Just got one!
And for stateside readers who don't want to pay international shipping - these are available in local bike shops and REI. I was grateful to try one on in person - they're very sturdy so I have one for winter, but will wear my ventilated helmet this summer (if we actually have one, I guess I could have been wearing the Bern with all this rain!)
